The Healthy Rebellion: A Manifesto for Change

“The only way to deal with an unhealthy world is to become so completely healthy that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”

This is the foundation of The Healthy Rebellion (THR), a community dedicated to creating a healthier world by taking control of our health and well-being. The aim is to unite like-minded individuals focused on health, fitness, and sustainable living.

I established The Healthy Rebellion to build a space for people who share similar values and goals—one that is unique, valuable, and entirely our own. This community is different from anything you’ve seen before, and while there might be a learning curve, it’s worth it for the fresh perspective it offers.

Here’s why I chose to create THR instead of using existing platforms:

  1. Ownership: This community is ours. As we grow together, we will have exclusive access to content, in-depth discussions, interactive polls, and real-world events, all of which will help us stay connected and engaged.

  2. Greater Connections: THR provides more opportunities to connect with others who share your interests, values, and goals, particularly those near you. This kind of connection isn’t possible in many of the free online groups or platforms out there.

  3. A Central Hub: Currently, I manage several services across different platforms, but this community will allow me to streamline everything in one place. By doing so, I can provide valuable collaborations, new ideas, and exclusive content that will support your journey towards better health and well-being.

Our Mission: 1 Million People Liberated from the Sick Care System

Changing the world is no easy feat, but I’ve been involved in transformative movements before. I helped establish the first and fourth CrossFit affiliate gyms and played a role in launching the Paleo Diet and Ancestral Health movements. I also published the first article on Intermittent Fasting back in 2005. These initiatives sparked global change, and if they could do it, so can we.

How Do We Achieve This Mission?

To make a lasting impact, we must first take care of ourselves. If you’re struggling with illness, financial stress, or emotional turmoil, the most powerful step you can take is to get healthy and stable. We can’t help others if we’re not healthy ourselves. Once we’re in a position of strength, we can help those around us by sharing what we’ve learned.

As we transform individually, we can extend that impact. The knowledge we gain can help friends, family, and entire communities embrace healthier living. We’re also developing materials to reach out to churches, civic organizations, and other social groups to spread the word.

Our ultimate goal is to leave a lasting legacy. We want to build a world where future generations thrive, starting with a regenerative food system that nurtures both people and the planet. By focusing on sustainability and respecting local traditions, we can build a food system that supports long-term health and ecological stability.

The Current State of Our World

The state of our world’s health is far from ideal. It’s difficult to ignore the growing number of sick individuals and the increasing barriers to accessing the information that could help them. But that’s exactly why THR exists. We recognize that the current system is failing, and we’re here to create change.

We need to confront the reality of the industrial food system, the problems with our healthcare system, and the monopolies controlling the flow of information. Only then can we begin to reshape our future.

Our Core Beliefs

At The Healthy Rebellion, we believe in:

  1. The Ancestral Health Model: A balanced approach that includes proper sleep, nutrition, community, and physical movement is the key to preventing and treating chronic diseases.

  2. Functional Medicine: When medical intervention is necessary, it should focus on addressing the root cause of illness, not just suppressing symptoms. Functional medicine aligns best with this approach.

  3. A Stable, Healthy Food System: A thriving population is only possible with a healthy food system, one that is decentralized in production and allows for efficient distribution.

  4. Regenerative and Local: The food system we seek must be regenerative, supporting both local and global needs. It should also respect cultural sovereignty and encourage sustainable farming practices.

By fostering such a food system, we can reduce healthcare needs to trauma care, infections, and inherited conditions.

A Call to Action

This community is built by all of us. To make The Healthy Rebellion a reality, I need your help. We need your stories, experiences, and ideas to build a knowledge base that everyone can benefit from. Together, we can take control of our health and make better decisions for ourselves and future generations.

Let’s make this rebellion a force for change. Your contributions, whether big or small, will help us shape a healthier world.
